What does “digital-first” look like for BillyPenn.com?

What do they do? How do they do it?
-Engage people in brand and publication. ie Take BillyPenn guy with you. Photo and Instagram it.
-Add events to calendar from site to your phone. And buy tickets.
-Scrolling layout. Same “weight” given to article, link, Instagram, etc.
-Ad are user friendly. Non-corporate. Subtle. No Philly.com ads that take over.
-Follow/Share is at top of original content. Share button moves.
-Local news only. Lots of links. Do what you do best. Link to the rest.
-Simple design. Simple writing. Phone friendly.
-Headlines are casual. Read like lead of the story. SEO. Key words. Tells you exactly what content is about.
-Social media on top. Integrated in all stories. Using social media in individual ways. Not just pushing everything the same.
-Aggregation. Connecting content to Pope, but alternatives.
-Reporter using Twitter differently than just stories. Not just pushing headlines.
